CVI Experience Suitcase
CVI or Cerebral Visual Impairment is a disorder of vision in which the problem lies not in the eyes but in the brain. The way CVI manifests itself, and its severity, can vary greatly from person to person.
With the CVI Experience Suitcase, you gain insight through experiential exercises into what CVI is and which functions it can affect. The suitcase contains 8 exercises that simulate the most common characteristics of CVI and show how these can influence daily functioning.
This suitcase was developed for care workers, parents, teachers and other involved parties who want to better understand how a person with CVI experiences the world. The aim is not only to inform, but also to raise awareness: through targeted adaptations, we can significantly facilitate the daily and school functioning of children with CVI.
Professional training included
When purchasing the experience suitcase, you also receive a training session for professionals. During this session, we give you the necessary tools to use the suitcase correctly and effectively. This prepares you well to make optimal use of the insights from the suitcase in training sessions and awareness programmes. Even after purchasing a suitcase, we are of course on hand for advice.
